Would you like to donate a Book Collection to the ARPS Libraries? Information available at the ARPS Book Fair… Just ask one of our amazing Book Fair Volunteers for more information.
All For Books donation program
ARPS is participating in the All For Books donation program this year. This program is designed to get books into the hands of students whose school cannot afford books for their libraries. Scholastic matches any monetary donation to this program dollar for dollar. We will be giving our book donations to Kearney Middle School in Commerce City, CO. They have 850 students in grades 6th-8th. They have not had a designated library budget in 19 years and have not had a NEW book in their library in 10 years. I am excited to be a part of helping these students and I think it is a wonderful outreach for our own students to be a part of something like this 🙂
Thank You For Your Donations!
Thank you! I know that this is a lot of information… thanks for helping us have an amazing book fair!
Aspen Ridge Thankful Luncheon
Thursday, November 10th
November 10th will be a day of thankfulness at Aspen Ridge, including a special meal served in our cafeteria of turkey w/ gravy, green beans, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, dinner roll, and pumpkin cake. We’d love for you to join us!!
It was so great to meet all of you and your students at Meet the Teacher night! For me it was a breath of fresh air to put faces to names and feel the excitement from the kids as they found their desks, put away their supplies, and started connecting with their classmates. I am confident it is going to be an amazing year and I can’t wait to get started!
Hopefully, you left the classroom with my Welcome letter which included 3 QR codes linking to a few Google forms that I would like you to fill out before the end of our first week of school on Aug. 19. If you don’t have the Welcome letter, or if you just prefer good “old fashioned” links to access the forms, here you go:
Tuesday will be here before we know it…can’t wait! 🙂
