Glenn Massarotti – President
A fifth generation Coloradoan, Glenn was raised in Broomfield and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in aerospace engineering. He is a partner in a design/build commercial construction company, and has managed the construction of virtually all types of projects, including charter schools. Glenn has been active in the Erie community for many years, serving as a town Trustee, Mayor Pro Tem, and the Erie trustee liaison to both the Boulder Valley and Saint Vrain Valley school districts. Glenn and his wife Shannon have lived in Erie for fifteen years, and they have two children.
From broadcast journalist covering events from the Midwest to Asia to Planning Commissioner with the Town of Erie, Mike comes to the Aspen Ridge Board with a wide-ranging knowledge base. As a resident of Erie for the past 5 years, Mike has helped the Erie PD win approval for building a new Police Station, been a member of the Town’s Tree Board, and served on the Planning Commission. There’s more than a little bias in Mike’s motivations for being an active member in our community…he and his wife, Jessica, bought their first home here in Erie and their two young sons, (Mason and Connor), are Erie natives. Mike hopes to lend both his professional expertise and his feel for the Town of Erie to help shape the future for Aspen Ridge as it enters this new and exciting period of growth. Mike is a small business owner and received his bachelors degree in Political Science from American University in Washington, DC.
Krista Burnell – Treasurer
Krista currently serves as Vice President of Organizational Development for a local credit union overseeing both the Marketing and Human Resource Departments. She has been in the Financial Services industry for the past 20 years. Krista holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Boulder with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. She and her husband Mike currently reside in Erie and have four children, three of whom have attended Aspen Ridge as will the fourth when she enters preschool in the coming year.
Eric Rinard – Secretary
Eric is a design engineer for a laser research and manufacturing company in Boulder. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from CU Boulder and has lived in the Denver-Boulder area most of his life. Eric and his wife Jodi own a small horse farm east of Erie, where they raise their four children – three current and one future Aspen Ridge students. “We chose Aspen Ridge because we wanted our kids to be in a school with high academic achievement, and we have not been disappointed.”
