Kindergarten Early Entrance Policy
According to the Code of Colorado Regulations (CCR) 12.08, Aspen Ridge Preparatory School shall provide early access to serve highly advanced gifted children. A child must be four on or before the first day of school to be an eligible candidate for Early Access to kindergarten, or five years of age to be eligible for Early Access to first grade.
It is the policy of Aspen Ridge Preparatory School that children who are five (5) years of age on or before October 1st shall be given priority for enrollment to Kindergarten over those who are not five (5) years of age on October 1st.
Once the wait list for kindergarten enrollment has been exhausted, Aspen Ridge Preparatory School may enroll highly advanced gifted children who qualify through the St. Vrain Valley School District’s testing process:

- Once testing has been completed, the Aspen Ridge Preparatory School Principal will decide if the child shall be admitted for early access.
- Parents may appeal the Principal’s decision to the Aspen Ridge Preparatory School Board of Directors. The decision of the Board of Directors shall be final.
