Rachel DeSimone

Ms. DeSimone grew up in New York’s Hudson Valley, earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from SUNY New Paltz, studying Adolescent Education in English and Literacy Education. She began her career in middle schools in New York State as an English Language Arts teacher and a Literacy Interventionist. Ms. DeSimone's favorite thing is to share her love for reading and writing with her students, motivating them to find their own strengths and passions when it comes to learning. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and two dog nieces, Meera and Pippin, who love to hike and swim just as much as she does.
