Cathy Hellbaum
Ms. Hellbaum and her husband, Bruce, moved to Longmont in 2016, and she started working at Aspen Ridge in the fall of that same year. Her husband, Bruce, recently retired but remains on the boards of Front Range State Bank and Banker's Bank of the West. Ms. Hellbaum grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota, and attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie, obtaining a B.S. in Computer Science. She and Bruce married in 1986 and moved to Wheatland, Wyoming, where they lived for 29 years raising their two daughters. Ms. Hellbaum was a stay-at-home mom until her girls started grade school. She then worked part-time as the Parish Administrator of their church for 11 years. Once she and Bruce became "empty-nesters," She began working full time for the Platte County Clerk of the District Court's office. Ms. Hellbaum was very involved in their community, church, and schools, serving as PTO President for many years, helping to get a new middle school built, and starting a 501(c)(3) that emphasized after school programs, summer activities, and team building/anti-bullying programs for youth.
Ms. Hellbaum's oldest daughter, Paige Eikeland, and her husband, Andreas, live in Gjerstad, Norway. Paige recently completed two years of advanced study obtaining her Master's Degree in Applied Ecology from Inland University in Evanstad, Norway. She has been working for Grid-Arendal, a partner of the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) for the past year and she is starting the long process of obtaining dual citizenship. Andreas is a Mechanical Engineer and works for Kongsberg Defense and Aerospace. Ms. Hellbaum's younger daughter, McKenzie Graham, and her husband, Josh, are both pharmacists living and working in Riverton, Wyoming. They have a little boy, Kellan, who is three, and a little girl, Colbie, who is one.
