Mrs. Stayton, formerly known as Ms. Thornton, was born on Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, attended elementary school in Mesa, Arizona, then spent most of her growing up years right here in Erie! You may have previously seen her running camp games with your kids at Camp Erie, watching your dogs at Bowhaus, or working before and after school at the Owls' Nest check out table many years ago! She is now in her fifth year teaching at Aspen Ridge and loves to be part of the fifth grade team!

Mrs. Stayton got married July 20th, to her husband, Hunter! Together they live here in Erie with their dog, Taos. They love to take him paddle boarding or visiting any restaurant that has a patio for dogs. They rescued him from Taos, New Mexico, hence the name! Mrs. Stayton has many likes and hobbies including crafting, caring for her many house plants, cooking delicious meals, and spending time with people she loves the most!
