Ms. Polly is thrilled to be here for her third year at Aspen Ridge. As she heads into her tenth year in education, she’s ready to support both students and staff every day. Prior to Aspen Ridge, Ms. Polly taught sixth grade Science and Social Studies in Denver and fourth grade in Broomfield.
After running the Bolder Boulder in high school and seeing the Rocky Mountains for the first time (as there was nothing majestic like mountains in the New York City suburbs), she knew that Colorado would be her forever home. She graduated from the University of Colorado (Go Buffs!) with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Elementary Education then earned her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University. She is currently getting her Reading Specialist endorsement through Western Colorado University. Ms. Polly’s free time doesn't exist anymore because she's a first time mom, so her hobbies now include meal prepping purees, overly exaggerated excitement about light up toys that make noise, and playing peek-a-boo.
