Beckie Nelson

 

 

 

 

Beckie Nelson has a background in teaching high school and middle school science. She originally taught in Texas, but has called Colorado home for the last several years. She worked in a library makerspace running their Open Lab hours teaching people how to use a variety of tools and equipment, and designing library programs for all ages. She has a Master's degree in Learning Design & Technology from CU Denver. Beckie is excited to bring a makerspace to Aspen Ridge and loves bridging making and learning. Beckie has two kids and loves reading, crocheting amigurumi, playing D&D, and playing Stardew Valley. She is excited to be part of the enrichment team at Aspen Ridge!
