Joy Asselta

Ms. Asselta received her bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in English from the University of Vermont. Her studies prepared her to teach 7th through 12th grade, so she's excited to work with our middle school students to ensure that they're well prepared for the high school English classes that lie ahead of them. Ms. Asselta was born and raised in New Jersey, but moved to Colorado to be closer to the mountains. Outside of school she enjoys being outdoors, reading, camping, running, baking, and spending time with her friends and family. She looks forward to building a classroom community where everyone feels empowered to learn and grow!
